In the last 5 years I have developed a passion for cakes, ranging from simple birthdays, to weddings and specialty cakes. My goal is to create desserts that are beautiful and delicious! Nothing give me more pleasure than planning a cake for someone and seeing how much they enjoyed it! Each week I will post a spotlighted dessert/cake that I made, with the recipe and highlights(this should be interesting because I am also trying to lose weight)!Comments and questions are welcome!

Dessert Ideas Please

Because I am planning on doing at least 52 different desserts in 2012 with this blog, I thought it would be great to get some ideas from those who may follow along with me on my journey!

If you have a favorite dessert, or one that you've always wanted to try, please share! Lets have fun exploring all the possibilities!

I love Black Forest Gateau (done with either black cherries or raspberries or both)! Creme brulee is another favorite. What about a gluten-free dessert? International desserts? Try to hit all seven continents! --Lindsay

Thanks for the great ideas! I think my next will be Tiramisu Cake, then I will try Black Forest Gateau! I have yet to make a Gluten Free dessert, so that is definitely on my list!
